Oracle Code One, The “New” Conference for All Developers

For those of you familiar with Java One, you may have been surprised when Oracle announced the return of the annual conference with a new name. This year, the conference has returned as Oracle Code One, offering a wide range of topics expanding past that of just Java. Think Python, Ruby, Go, and the like.

This is exciting for Instana, as our Automatic Application Monitoring solution offers support for ten different languages and over 100 microservice technologies. We’re thrilled that we will have the opportunity to meet, learn and collaborate with this broader community.

Yet Another Java (Code) One Speaker From Instana

Instana employees have contributed to Java One for years participating in various thought leadership panels and speaking about application performance. We’re proud to announce another notch in our belt in 2018 with Don’t Go, Java, an interesting presentation from Instana’s Developer Advocate Chris Engelbert (you know him as @noctarius2k). If you’re at the show, come learn why the programming world thinks so highly of Go, and how it compares to Java. Oh yeah, prepare to have your brain explode.

Of course, there are other sessions that are worth attending at the show (mayyyyyybe). Here are some of Stan’s favorites:

Demos of APM 3.0

Don’t forget to come by the Instana booth. We’ll be on the expo floor at Booth 5200 (near the snacks and drinks!). Stop by for some fun discussions about APM and monitoring trends in a world of containers, microservices, and orchestration. We’ll be giving demos all day and handing out some sweet robot swag!
